The Book Meme

Well it’s seems I’ve been tagged by a fellow blogger to carry out “The Book Meme”. What’s that I hear you all ask… Well, I’ve taken the instructions from Simon’s blog so see below:
The rules for this meme thing are :
- Grab the nearest book.
- Open it to page 56.
- Find the fifth sentence.
- Post the text of the sentence in your journal along with these instructions.
- Don’t dig for your favorite book, the cool book, or the intellectual one: pick the CLOSEST.
So, the book my hand went to is called “Haunted” by James Herbert and the fifth sentence on page 56 is:
“There was no disturbance in those murky depths, merely a stirring of its surface.”
Hmm, quite a thought provoking sentence when its on its own don’t you think?!
